JAMB 2021 Registration Pre-Information



Have you been studying for JAMB 2021? Do you want to know how you register for JAMB 2021? Or you have questions on what you need to be eligible for JAMB 2021? This article outlines the processes, procedures and information you ought to know on how to register for JAMB 2021 and the associated warnings and precautions.

Official Price :- The 2021 JAMB form price amount is N3,500 for Nigerian locals. Foreign students will have to pay $20 for the JAMB 2021/2022 registration fee, which has been slashed from $100. Note this amount is for the Form only. The whole JAMB 2021 fee will cost at most N4,700. Below is the breakdown of the different fees:

• N3,500: JAMB Registration Form

• N700: CBT service charge

• N500: JAMB 2021/2022 textbook

• $20: Foreign Centre Candidates

JAMB will be OPEN FOR ALL.

Procedures :- To register, candidates MUST follow these procedures. There is no JAMB 2021 offline registration.You first have to check your eligibility with for the chosen courses and institution on Ibass. This helps eliminate the wrong choice of subjects.

Registering for JAMB 2021 :- Before you proceed, you must have a JAMB profile. Follow the procedures below to create a JAMB account:-

1. You must have a valid email (Gmail, Yahoo etc.) Gmail is recommended. If you already have an existing email account, there is no need to create a new one.

2. Create a JAMB account online. It is a MUST to have a JAMB profile before buying the JAMB registration form. Only students with JAMB account can register, check admission status, and check online results and other things.

3. Once your JAMB Profile is live, it is time to buy the JAMB e-Registration Pin. You can buy this from:

• JAMB accredited banks,

• JAMB portal,

• NIPOST,

• ATMs,

• Phone USSD.

4. Visit a JAMB Accredited CBT Center for registration. Please check the List of centres released by JAMB. Candidates should only visit JAMB certified sites. Candidates must not pay more than N700. You will need to provide the following for your registration:

• Date of Birth, Gender, Nationality, State of Origin, Local Government, e-mail address

• Institutions and courses/programs of your choice

• Qualifications and Results, if available

• Submit/upload certificates, if available

• "O" and "A" Level results to be provided by candidates. No recommendations accepted

• Choice of UTME subjects

• Choice of town(s) for:

(a) Mock examination (optional)

(b) Examination for UTME (actual examination)

           Have your photograph taken on site

           Have 10 finger Biometrics taken

           Review entries and confirm correctness

           Use Biometrics to Print Registration Slip

5. After registration, collect the JAMB e-Slip as proof of registration. Go through it to confirm you have provided the correct details.

6. Make sure you collect JAMB related resources. The resources are free of charge. These includes:

• A CD containing JAMB e-Syllabus,

• E-Brochure

• The JAMB reading text for 2020

7. You are done with registration. Time to go home and prepare for the (optional) mock exam if selected or the actual JAMB examination.

Information to Remember :-

·         JAMB strictly warns against Examination cheats.

·         Keep your JAMB Account information to yourself.

·         Do not register twice

·         If you want to correct information, only do so from JAMB.

·        When JAMB registration closes, there will be no extension.
