BUSINESS SCHOOLS THAT ACCEPT THE GRE
Want to navigate your way through the finest business schools round the world to pursue the Masters of Business Administration (MBA)?
For
once on the face of the Earth, every student or graduate must have heard about
the Graduate Record Examinations, or popularly called as GRE. Graduate Record Examination or GRE is that platform through which you can get yourself admitted
in specialized master’s, graduate business and MBA programs. Administrated by the world’s most significant
non-profit educational testing organization, ETS or Educational Testing
Service,
the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is one of the definite steps that will
convert your aspiration into reality.
Why
are Business Schools accepting GRE scores as well?
Graduate
Management Admission Test (GMAT), however since decades, had been the sole
standardized test for getting into any type of business school programs. But in
the recent years, numerous business schools have started accepting the GRE
scores which gives the test taker two great platforms to show their academic
skills. About 90% business schools in the United State are accepting both GRE
and GMAT scores for the admission purposes. Business schools are now of the
opinion that the skills of an individual being tested in both of these tests
are more or less equivalent and studying for either of the two will ensure that
the enrolled students are meritorious and capable enough to thrive in their
school. As per the authorities, by undertaking such a step, it would ensure
that the aspiring candidates don’t study for a whole new standardized exam for
the sake of MBA degree. It would invite more unique personalities to their
course thereby increasing the pool of canny students. Thus, accepting the GRE
scores is simply a novel and coherent way of getting new and worthy MBA
applications.

With GRE, being one of the standardized test, your quantitative, verbal and analytical skills are scrutinized. The revised version of this test (GRE) is structured in such a style that the test takers holistic approach is evaluated; it is said that it was changed in order to go in accord with the grounds required by the prestigious business schools.
The ETS (Educational Testing Service) website has also designed a conversion scale wherein the applicant can get an idea of the corresponding GMAT score by entering their GRE score.
